Even in her early works, the cloud as a manifesto of the ephemeral was a recurring motif that the artist and philosophy graduate Petra von Kazinyan filled with emotion.
Liquid modernity, as Zygmunt Bauman once so aptly described it, has become nebulous. Everything once flowed - now everything seems to be in a cloudy state of dissolution. Dematerialization, nothing seems tangible anymore.
Created this year, the Cloud Paintings, exhibited for the first time, reflect inner and outer landscapes and, as enigmatic, poetic puzzle paintings, also refer to a future that is currently being rewritten.

Schon in ihren frühen Arbeiten war die Wolke als Manifest des Flüchtigen ein wiederkehrendes Motiv, das die Künstlerin und Philosophie-Absolventin Petra von Kazinyan mit Emotionen füllte.
Die liquid modernity, wie Zygmunt Bauman sie einst so treffend genannt hat, ist nebulös geworden. Alles fließt war einmal - jetzt scheint alles in wolkenhafter Auflösung begriffen. Entmaterialisierung, nichts wirkt mehr greifbar.
Entstanden im vergangenen Jahr, spiegeln die erstmals ausgestellten Cloud Paintings innere und äußere Landschaften wider und verweisen als enigmatisch-poetische Vexierbilder zugleich auf eine Zukunft, die sich gerade neu schreibt.
